REVENGE by John John Jesse

Released in October 2006, the very first of many exclusive prints by Icon Industries is by none other than New York's favorite punk rocker and ex-Catholic schoolboy, John John Jesse. After much deliberation, Douglas and John John agreed that the piece, REVENGE, would make an incredible first offering by the fledgling company, defining the quality of work that Icon Industries is dedicated to providing.

This signed & numbered gicleé print is available in an edition of 30 and is printed on Somerset Velvet fine art paper.

It's been a long time coming...

Welcome to Icon Industries new blog! Here we will focus on the processes and updates of upcoming exclusive prints and other projects, as well as any news regarding the inevitable opening of the Icon Industries Gallery. But first, a little about founder, Douglas Seaton...

Being an avid fan of the art genre commonly known as "lowbrow" for well over 15 years, Douglas Seaton founded Icon Industries in 2006 after having the opportunity to manage a modern pop art gallery in Denver, CO for two years. During this time, he had the chance to work with some of the genre's best artists - some well-known and others lesser-known. It was his discriminating eye for art that helped to bring some outstanding artists to Denver that would normally only be found in galleries on the East and West coasts. And it was these relationships brought about by his gallery work that only fueled his passion for the art being created within this genre. So, it is with great pleasure that Douglas is able to continue his work within this genre through the work being provided by Icon Industries. And with luck, this work will help to lay the groundwork for a physical gallery that will help to bring more attention to Denver's rapidly growing art scene.
